Role of Derivatives Ciprofloxacin on Chronic Myeloid Leukemia: In Silico Approach

چکیده

Introduction: chronic myeloid leukemia is one of the major diseases, which cause death worldwide. Tyrosine kinase responsible for uncontrolled cell growth and block its function. Its inhibition a promising route to control out grow cells. The purpose our study involves docking human Abl with seven ciprofloxacin derivatives comparison results free energy binding positive (Imatinib). Methods: present aims examine interactions between kinase(2HYY) domain retrieved from protein data bank in imatinib as reference. analysis was performed using Autodock vina Implicated PyRx 0.8 tool. Results: revealed that, according their still have lowest followed by CHOCP MPCP. In silico ADMET predictions that except DMOCP all other compounds had toxic effects. Conclusion: these may not serve potential inhibitor due high toxicity imatinib.

The role of microRNA in acute/chronic, myeloid/lymphocytic leukemia

MicroRNAs are small, non-coding sequences that regulate gene expression by inducing degradation or translational inhibition of target mRNAs. These molecules control many intracellular physiological and pathological processes.Abnormal expression of these moleculs has been described in different cancers including hematopoietic cancers. According to the type of cancer and the stage, miRNA’s expres...

Role of Oxidative Stress in Modulating Unfolded Protein Response Activity in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Cell Line

Background: Recently, it has been revealed that tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) act through inducing both oxidative and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress in chronic myeloid leukemia cells. However, ER stress signaling triggers both apoptotic and survival processes within cells. Nevertheless, mechanisms by which TKIs avoid the pro-survival effects are not clear. The aim of this study was to ev...

Unusual ophthalmic manifestation in chronic myeloid leukemia: A case report

Background: Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a myeloproliferative hematopoietic malignancy with a heterogeneous proliferation of hematopoietic cells in the bone marrow. The ocular manifestations are rare symptoms of CML. In this case report, a CML patient with retinal hemorrhage is reported as an uncommon symptom. Case presentation: A 35-year-old man was referred due to decreased right eye vi...

Role of Epigenetics in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

The efficacy of therapeutic modalities in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) depends on both genetic and epigenetic mechanisms. This review focuses on epigenetic mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of CML and in resistance of tumor cells to tyrosine kinase inhibitors leading to the leukemic clone escape and propagation. Regulatory events at the levels of gene regulation by transcription factors...
